September Journal: Book launch and author platform
September has been all about ‘Eclipse of Avarice’. As I geared up for the release of Book One in “The Prince of Hellscape Series”, I also adapted my social media strategy and author website.
Preparing for the launch of Eclipse of Avarice, Book One in "The Prince of Hellscape Series", has been a challenging task. One of the most significant hurdles has been finalizing the cover design. After many discussions and revisions, we finally completed the design. I’ll be revealing the book cover soon!
Besides the cover work, I rewrote several sections of the supernatural suspense thriller. While it took more time and effort than I expected, I am confident that these revisions will enhance the overall quality of the story.
I’m currently planning to publish Eclipse of Avarice in the first week of November! In the series debut, Luminael Morningstar, and Crowley have settled down in Las Vegas. Just as they carve out their niche in Sin City, a ruthless adversary disrupts their new life, plunging them into a nightmare that threatens to consume them both.

Strengthening my author platform
Aside from the launch preparation, I had to address a frustrating bug on my author’s website. On pure coincidence, I noticed Google wasn’t using my meta descriptions for my posts. After my web designer resolved the issue, I needed to revise my meta descriptions.
I also refined my social media strategy. Although I regularly post on X/Twitter and Facebook, there’s room for improvement. Thus, I started to use branded images to create a cohesive look for my posts. At least, I can now use Canva to design professional-quality graphics more efficiently.
