I’m not a fan of New Year’s resolutions because they often feel vague and disappear by February. But I do have a set of goals.

Writing Goals for 2026: New Speculative Fiction Releases

Over the past few weeks, I’ve assessed my content strategy and implemented changes to my workflow. My plan is to redirect more of my energy toward writing my novels in 2026.

My primary goal for 2026 is to publish at least another installment of The Prince of Hellscape Series. I’ve already finished the first draft of the second book in the supernatural thriller series, and it’s got even more otherworldly intrigue than Eclipse of Avarice.

Due to necessary revisions, especially regarding the design of the book cover, I’m planning for a spring release. This timeline allows me to avoid rushing the manuscript and ensure that the story meets my standards.

Tales from the Omniverse: Potential Ventures

I’m still thinking about translating The Empath Series into German. Before I commit, I need to determine if I have the time and resources to create the translations. I’m also looking into other platforms like Kobo and Apple iBooks for my novels, in a process known as “going wide.”

If these projects move forward, they’ll probably happen in the second half of the year. My focus right now is on The Prince of Hellscape Series.

“The Empath Series” is a paranormal suspense thriller about empath Nathaniel Colt, who is thrust back into the world the former special agent thought he’d left behind—a world of danger and violence.

Tales from the Omniverse: Upcoming topics

In 2025, I published almost 30 articles for my fictional content, so I figured I’d set a goal of one article per week for 2026. I’m not sure that I can do that—at least not without adding unnecessary pressure.

So, what am I going to write about? Since I’m currently writing The Prince of Hellscape Series, I plan to explore related topics to the book series and the supernatural genre. Some of them will be standalone pieces, and others will be part of a larger series. Since I’ve written posts about paranormal fiction before, I may expand on those topics as well.

Moreover, I’m going to do more of something I didn’t get to in 2025: review novels, TV shows, and movies from other creators in The Omniverse. If I combine reviews with my other planned topics, I might actually reach that one-post-per-week milestone. We’ll see how it goes.
